Setup

  1. In ConnectWise Manage under System>Security Roles - click the + button to add a new security role

    1. Open your new security role and expand the Projects section and scroll to Project Tickets. Set the Add/Edit and Inquire Levels to All.

    3. Next expand the System section and scroll to Table Setup (customize).

    4. Click on the customize link. Use the double right arrow to move all setup tables to the Disallow column. Then select the Company/Address Formats setup table and use the single left arrow to move to the Allow column. Then click Save button.

  1. ezdeploy Assign the Security Role you created in Step 1. All values with * must be populated - then you can save. Make sure Level is to (Level 1) - it may not be called Corporate but you want to make sure you can access tickets at all levels.

  2. On the API Keys tab for the new API member click + to generate a new set of keys.

    2. And finally once you go to close out the member you will get final warning last time to view Private Key. If you do not make note of both keys before closing - you will have to delete the keys and start over.

Usage

  1. Only existing Manage Service Tickets/Project Tickets can be posted with the results of an ezdeploy Deployment. Example existing Manage Service Ticket #875

  2. In the ezdeploy Portal will click on Home to display Deployment records.

  3. Double-click on the desired row to View Details.

    If deployment is running enter Ticket Number/Project Ticket number then choose either Internal or Discussion (where you would like posted to in the Notes pod of ticket) and click Save.

    If deployment is completed enter Ticket Number/Project Ticket number then choose either Internal or Discussion (where you would like posted to in the Notes pod of ticket) and click Submit.

  4. The Deployment Details will post to the ticket - example under Internal notes. You will be able to scroll and see each section as applicable.
