Provisioning Windows 21H2 with a ppkg is functional however the recent 22H2 build released in September 2022 is not.

In testing we have found you cannot provision with a ppkg for initial OOBE setup.  You select package, enter password but then are looped back to the OOBE.  If you try again then get a failure code  0x800700b7.

This is listed as Known Issue by Microsoft and affects usage of any ppkg - is not specific to MSP Toolshed.  So a ppkg with Intune for example also runs into the same issue.

Microsoft workarounds include downgrading to Windows 11 21H2 or using Windows Autopilot.  Downgrading of course not possible for a new machine pre-installed with Windows 11 22H2 without a complete new installation of Windows 11 21H2.

So to save time we are recommending instead that you go ahead and manually complete the OOBE and create your local admin account.  Then apply a WebStart Deployment msi after as everything else a OneTouch would do is available for you to setup in a WebStart Deployment.

We'll continue to monitor the situation and if anything changes, we'll post updates here.

As of the June 2023 Patch Tuesday release - still on Known Issues
